The Coastal Construction Equipment Field Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and testing heavy equipment and related systems at customer job sites and other remote locations throughout the service territory. This position provides timely and professional onsite service to minimize equipment downtime and maximize customer productivity.

The Field Technician performs advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems while working independently in a mobile service environment.

The role

requires strong technical expertise, sound decision-making, and effective communication with customers, supervisors, and support personnel. The Field Technician is responsible for accurately documenting service activities, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring all repairs are completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.
