Clarify is an outcomes company. We partner with 60+ health systems to do the work that most analytics vendors walk away from. Across 900 million annual referrals and $1 trillion in downstream spending, we identify where mission and margin are falling out of alignment, and then we embed with the people who can change it: the liaison in the field, the contract negotiator at the table, the service line leader running the plan.
We bring the most complete picture of care economics in healthcare. 300 million patient journeys. 5.6 trillion price transparency rates. Episode-level quality across every major payer contract. Clarify Meridian puts that picture to work at the point of every decision. But the picture is not what we deliver. The outcomes are.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who owns components of Clarify's Meridian software and carries each one from concept through build, validation, and release, running the QA and analytics that decide whether a new capability ships and whether the software already in customers' hands keeps working.
This is a hands-on role for a product builder who is analytical, technical enough to prototype and validate, and energized by shipping software that customers rely on.
The role
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for a range of responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
- Take features from prototype through release, using AI-enabled coding to build and working with engineering to refine and deploy.
- Own the quality bar for net-new capabilities, including regression testing and release gates. When bugs surface, own them to resolution: triage severity, drive the fix, and confirm it before release.
- Translate product strategy and vision into clear methodologies and standards that guide engineering decisions and execution.
- Act as the commercial and customer team's product partner — sharing roadmap, writing release notes, demoing the product, answering questions, and prioritizing bug fixes.
- Keep existing capabilities dependable release over release, investigating issues and validating fixes for customers already on the platform.
- Write the specifications and acceptance criteria for the components you own, effectively communicating a defined concept so that it can be built against.
- Partner across engineering, analytics, and clinical informatics to align on methodology and resolve tradeoffs among data quality, speed, and scope.
What we are looking for
We are always looking for new team members who will add to our culture and have a strong passion for impact. In particular, the Senior Product Manager will have:
Required qualifications
- Five or more years in product management, product analytics, or a comparable technical role.
- Analytical fluency and direct comfort in data. You can interrogate a dataset, QA a metric, and defend a number without waiting on an analyst to pull it.
- Technical aptitude and a builder's instinct. Coding is not required. You have prototyped or built product and can work with engineering on how something gets built, not only what.
- Clear writing and speaking, including specifications engineering can execute against.
- Experience prototyping/building with AI tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or health-related field, or equivalent practical experience
Personal Attributes
- A high bar and the work ethic to hold it. You do whatever it takes to get there — chasing down the missing answer, filling the gap no one owns, staying with it until it is right. You expect the same standard from the work around you.
- Ownership mindset. You treat the components you own as yours, and you carry a problem to its outcome rather than handing it off halfway.
- Comfort with ambiguity. The problems may be clear but not yet well defined. You make a reasonable call, state your assumptions, and keep moving.
- A bias toward action. You are a doer. When something needs to be built, validated, or unblocked, you go do it, and you prototype your way to an answer.
Preferred qualifications
- Healthcare background strongly preferred. Familiarity with strategic and operational aspects of health systems that directly inform what we build. Experience with claims, provider or network data, or payer and provider workflows lets you contribute sooner.
- Work on LLM-driven or AI-assisted features, including evaluating and validating generated output.
What we offer you
- Competitive compensation (base + bonus + equity)
- Quality health insurance
- Traditional 401K plan
- Vision, dental, disability and life insurance
- Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefits
- Generous PTO
- Flexibility
- Monthly work-from-home stipend
- Remote friendly
- A collaborative workplace, which will challenge you and celebrate your work
- A chance to learn with and from interesting and enthusiastic colleagues
