Job description

Policy Support Specialist, Ads & Monetization Ops at Spotify

Spotify Trust & Safety is dedicated to creating a platform that’s safe for users and creators and true to our values.

We’re looking for a Policy Support Specialist to support our Ads & Monetization Operations. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our monetization policy enforcement operations across ad review and podcast monetization. You’ll partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve escalations, improve workflows, support policy and product updates, and strengthen training and quality programs.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Spotify’s ads and monetization policies and enforcement workflows, helping our global operations teams make consistent, objective decisions.
  • Support vendor and operations teams with enforcement guidance, training, quality initiatives, and change management.
  • Partner across teams to improve operational efficiency and quality through process improvements, tooling enhancements, and solutions that address the root causes of complex cases.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, monitor trends, and inform operational strategies.
  • Monitor, triage, and resolve high-profile or time-sensitive escalations, communicating clearly with partners including Sales, advertisers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Policy, Product, Legal, and Communications teams to develop workflows and support new policies, products, and launches.
  • Participate in occasional weekend or holiday on-call coverage and travel when needed.

Who You Are

  • You have 2+ years of experience in an operations role supporting ad review, content moderation, policy enforcement, or a related area.
  • You have experience developing new workflows, improving processes, and turning operational challenges into practical solutions.
  • You communicate clearly and can synthesize complex information for different audiences, including during sensitive or time-critical escalations.
  • You work effectively with cross-functional partners and can independently manage priorities and solve problems.
  • You bring strong analytical skills and can use qualitative and quantitative information to identify patterns and inform decisions.
  • You are adaptable and comfortable working through changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • You are comfortable reviewing sensitive or potentially disturbing content as part of your work.
  • You are fluent in English. Experience working with external vendors or using tools such as Salesforce, SQL, or AI-enabled tools can be helpful in this role.

Where You'll Be

  • This role can be based in San Francisco or NYC
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
