Revenue Cycle Client Billing Specialist-Temp at Natera

About the role

The Client Billing Specialist – Floater is a back-office billing operations role within the Natera Client Billing team. This position supports the team by handling the day-to-day billing processing work that keeps accounts moving — rotating across portfolios to provide coverage during absences and surge support during high-volume periods. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally focused, and a fast learner who is spreadsheet savvy, comfortable multitasking across multiple systems, navigating complex billing rules, and collaborating across internal departments.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Billing Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships within the organization relating to Revenue Cycle Management, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, resolving billing issues, maintaining accurate records, and preparing and delivering client invoices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures accurate and timely billing of all services.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves billing cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prevent future issues.
  • Analyzes billing trends and implements process improvements to enhance revenue cycle performance.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to ensure proper system configuration for accurate invoicing.
  • Develops and maintains efficient billing workflows and processes.
  • Reviews and processes billing type updates, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitors billing performance, prepares reports, and escalates unresolved issues as needed.
  • Identifies and leverages new technologies to drive continuous improvement in billing operations.
  • Partners with management to address trends and issues impacting revenue cycle performance.
  • Establishes an ongoing working relationship with other departments impacting revenue cycle performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
