Job description

KYC Analyst at SwissBorg

SwissBorg is building the future of crypto wealth management, making investing more accessible, transparent and intuitive for everyone. At the core of our platform is the Meta-Exchange (MEX). This smart routing engine connects multiple exchanges and liquidity sources to deliver optimal execution in a single, seamless app.

We're Swiss-engineered, regulated, and trusted by nearly one million users managing over $1B in crypto assets. But beyond the numbers, what drives us is the people behind every wallet and a commitment to continuously improving how they experience and interact with crypto.

Join us!

We’re looking for a KYC Analyst to join our team at SwissBorg. In this role, you’ll help ensure our users meet regulatory and compliance standards by supporting customer due diligence and ongoing reviews. You’ll work with user information and documentation, identify and investigate potential risks, and collaborate with internal teams to keep our processes accurate and up to date. If you’re motivated, curious, and interested in learning more about the evolving world of digital finance, we’d love to hear from you.

You will

  • Onboard individual and corporate users (KYC and KYB) by collecting and verifying documentation, including source of funds and source of wealth, and carrying out risk assessments
  • Periodically review KYC/KYB records to make sure they are complete and meet our due diligence standards
  • Screen users against sanctions and watchlists, escalating potential matches for further review
  • Run IP address consistency checks and investigate any mismatches or potential risks
  • Investigate high-risk users and conduct enhanced due diligence, including reviewing additional documentation and carrying out further checks
  • Work with internal teams and external parties to obtain the information we need
  • Contribute to projects and process improvements as they arise

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related field or equivalent professional experience in KYC
  • Ideally with hands-on knowledge of complex corporate (KYB) onboarding, including company structures and ultimate beneficial owners
  • Clear and efficient communicator, comfortable working with internal and external parties
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Sound knowledge of and/or experience in working with FATF Recommendations (Anti-Money Laundering, Countering Terrorism Financing)
  • Experience with AML monitoring and screening
  • Including experience in handling PEP's
  • Experience in transaction monitoring, both regular and on-chain is an advantage
  • Must have an interest in crypto
  • Good experience onboarding individual customers - reviewing all related documentation, including source of wealth documentation
