In This Role

As an Operations Contracts Manager, you will support business operations by managing inbound contract and negotiation requests from initial intake through execution and post-deal governance. You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across outsourcing, external staffing, development, software, and cloud-service needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to move agreements forward quickly while maintaining accurate documentation, resolving blockers, and improving operational processes.

This is a 12-week assignment

Responsibilities

Manage inbound contract and negotiation requests through established review and approval processes.

Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with external suppliers supporting outsourcing, development, staffing, software, and cloud-service needs.

Draft, review, and negotiate supplier agreements, software agreements, cloud orders, cost proposals, and contract supplements.

Coordinate project kickoffs and communicate contractual requirements to business, technical, production, and operational stakeholders.

Maintain supplier relationships and support ongoing partner governance after agreements are executed.

Track contract status, pipeline activity, deadlines, blocking issues, risks, and required stakeholder actions.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve deal-related issues and maintain business continuity.

Support external workforce operations and related supplier-management activities.

Develop and maintain contract documentation, operational trackers, business metrics, team tools, and reporting materials.

Document best practices and establish repeatable business processes.

Identify opportunities to improve contract, supplier, and business operations workflows.

Support project planning by maintaining goals, timelines, work breakdown structures, metrics, and budgets.

Track project expenditures, transaction controls, and costs against established budgets.

Identify potential budget overruns and recommend appropriate solutions.

Prepare status updates and reporting for key business and operational stakeholders.

Escalate unresolved risks, blockers, and contractual issues when necessary.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.

Two to four years of relevant experience in contract management, business operations, business development, supplier management, legal operations, or program management.

Hands-on experience managing contracts or agreements through multiple stages of the contract lifecycle.

Experience negotiating agreements with suppliers, vendors, or other external partners.

Experience supporting program, project, or operational-process management.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and stakeholder priorities.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to completing accurate, high-quality work.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and escalate issues appropriately.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to review cost proposals, track budgets, and apply basic accounting and mathematical principles.

Preferred qualifications

Professional background in business development, business operations, procurement, contract administration, or legal operations.

Experience supporting contract and supplier operations within a large, global enterprise environment.

Experience with software licensing, cloud-service agreements, outsourcing agreements, or external workforce contracts.

Experience working with technical, production, finance, legal, and operational stakeholders.

Familiarity with enterprise applications, contract repositories, project-management platforms, or business reporting tools.

Experience documenting business processes, developing best practices, or implementing operational improvements.

Experience tracking project budgets, expenditures, business metrics, and performance against established targets.

Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, supplier governance, and operational risk management.

Salary Range

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $25– $29 per hr. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
