Employer Remote Policy TrackerTransparent by design

How the Remote Policy Tracker works.

The tracker connects current remote-job evidence with official employer sources, then preserves every monthly observation so classifications and hiring direction can be audited over time.

Measurement framework

Six definitions govern every company record.

Each measure has a narrow purpose. Missing data remains unknown instead of being inferred as a negative result.

01

classification

WFH.team classifies official company policy language and current confirmed-remote job listings into fully remote, hybrid, remote-friendly, office-first, or not enough evidence.

02

remote job share

Confirmed remote openings divided by the company's source-reported open-job count when that denominator is available. A missing share means the total careers inventory is unknown.

03

trend

Increasing or decreasing requires a change of at least two percentage points in remote-job share, or a job-count change of at least two and 15% versus the prior monthly snapshot.

04

policy score

A 0-100 documentation score rewards clear classification, hiring locations, timezones, salary ranges, remote benefits, primary sources, and a measurable job-share denominator.

05

policy changes

RTO and policy-change claims are public only after approval against a primary company source. Automated changes enter a private review queue.

06

limitations

Job inventories and company pages can change between observations. Unknown means insufficient current evidence, not that remote work is unavailable.

Review controls

Automation proposes. Primary evidence confirms.

Routine measurements can update continuously. Claims that could materially change how a company is represented stay private until reviewed.
