What OSHA determines

OSHA guidance supplies the fit test: neutral head and neck, relaxed shoulders, elbows close to the body, straight wrists, supported feet, a primary monitor directly ahead, and glare control. It also supplies minimum work-space clearances and monitor-placement principles.

How starting measurements work

Seat, keyboard, and seated-eye ranges use simple stature proportions as planning estimates. They help users choose equipment with enough adjustment range, but the final position must be set by the neutral-posture checklist. The display starts at 50 to 70 cm away, with its top at or slightly below measured seated eye level and its center roughly 15 to 20 degrees below the horizontal eye line.

Cost model

Estimated monthly kWh equals assumed device watts multiplied by entered working hours. The home comparison adds the work-use share of internet and spreads the selected setup tier over 24 months. Coworking uses the entered day rate, weekly frequency, and commute cost. Location electricity rates are broad USD planning defaults unless the user supplies a current rate.

Product matching

Products are ranked by the impact category currently missing, work style, room fit, and budget. Existing gear is excluded from the purchase shortlist but remains in the verification checklist. Prices are manually checked against official manufacturer pages and stamped with a checked date.

Privacy and versioning

Plan requests are calculated statelessly. The API does not create a user record or save submitted height, room, equipment, or cost inputs. Shared URLs contain only the fields the user chose to put in the query string.
